B is for Breathe

Breathe in. Breathe out!

Breathe in. Breathe out!

Breathe in. Breathe out!

Everything is going to work out well.

I know most times our brains jump straight to negative thinking in difficult situations. Maybe as people, we are hard-wired to just go there. Mainly because it is easier to fall into such a loop, because I kid you not, the amount of energy you need to amass the enthusiasm you keep pushing is hard!

Some of us have bills on top of bills, on top of even more bills. One can feel caught between a rock and a hard place because you may not have the “fuck you money” to back up your real feelings.

What’s funny is, that I received more catchphrases about life than actual advice on how to limit the bumps and bruises of life.

No matter what it is, you have to breathe. You also have to train your brain to seek the positives. It’s the equivalent of building upon small victories.

You may not like a boss or a co-worker, or you may not like what you do, but get through the day as best you can, get home, and take time to plan toward a happier existence and work on getting there. It will be a slow grind, but you’ll get there.

Social media depicts everyone living a great life, but those are curated highlights. You must keep pushing, you must seek positivity, and remember, you must continue to breathe.
